• Educational Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or equivalent qualification
2. Typewriting with minimum speed of 40 words per minute in computer
3. Must have passed PGDCA Course in Computer

• Age Limit: 

1. Minimum Age: 21 years (must not be born later than 12-01-2005)
2. Maximum Age: 42 years (must not be born earlier than 13-01-1984)
3. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

💳 Selection Process

• Selection through four-stage examination process
• Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination (Qualifying):

1. Total Marks: 150 marks
2. Duration: 2 hours
3. 150 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions
4. Subjects: General English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude (Graduation level)
5. Negative Marking: 0.5 (half) mark deducted for each wrong answer
6. Qualifying Marks: 33% for SC/ST, 40% for others
7. Court has discretion to fix cut-off mark based on vacancies and qualified candidates

• Stage 2 – Language Test (Qualifying):

1. Total Marks: 100 marks
2. Duration: 2 hours
3. Essay in English (300 words): 30 marks
4. Precis writing: 20 marks
5. Translation from English to Odia: 20 marks
6. Translation from Odia to English: 20 marks
7. English Grammar: 10 marks
8. Qualifying Marks: 33% for SC/ST, 45% for others
9. Marks NOT counted in final merit list

• Stage 3 – Computer Application Test (Qualifying):

1. Total Marks: 100 marks
2. Theory (50 marks, 30 minutes): MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Access, Internet Operations, File uploading/downloading
3. Skill Test (50 marks, 30 minutes): Practical demonstration
4. Qualifying Marks: 50% or more
5. Marks NOT counted in final merit list

• Stage 4 – Main Written Examination (Typewriting Test in English):

1. Total Marks: 100 marks
2. Duration: 10 minutes
3. Type approximately 400 words from printed matter at 40 words per minute
4. 0.25 marks deducted for each mistake (omission, substitution, addition, repetition)
5. More than 20 mistakes leads to disqualification
6. Final merit list based on marks obtained in this test
