✅ Eligibility Criteria

• • Educational Qualification: 
  • Minimum Educational Qualification: Full time Diploma in Engineering in:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Production Engineering
  • Production & Industrial Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Mechanical & Automobile Engineering

• Minimum Marks Required:

• • General/EWS candidates: 50% marks in qualifying examination
  • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD candidates (against reserved posts): 45% marks in qualifying examination
  • The Diploma/Degree should be recognized by AICTE/BTE from a University incorporated by an Act of Central or State legislature in India
  • Sections A & B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) which is treated as equivalent to Degree by Govt. of India and recognized by AICTE shall also be accepted

• Experience:

• Minimum Post Qualification Work Experience Required: 02 Years in the relevant field of Engineering

• • The period of training (except on-the-job training)/internship/teaching/academic/fellowship/PhD research experience shall NOT be counted as experience
  • The period of Apprenticeship training (as per The Apprenticeship Act 1961) in the relevant discipline/area shall be considered for minimum post-qualification experience

• Desirable:

• • Domain of experience in the relevant field of Mechanical Engineering
  • Practical experience in engineering projects
  • Age Limit
  • Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years

• Age Relaxation:

• OBC (NCL)/SC/ST candidates: Relaxation as per extant Government orders (against reserved posts)
• PWD candidates: 10 years relaxation in upper age limit
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government orders
• J&K Domicile: As per Government orders
• Age will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of application (cut-off date: 30.12.2025)

💳 Selection Process

• Phase I: Written Test
  • Weightage: 100%
  • Total Questions: 125 objective type questions
  • Marks per Question: 1 mark each
  • Duration: 2.5 Hours (150 minutes)
  • NO negative marking
  • PWD candidates eligible for compensatory time of 50 minutes
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS; 45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD against reserved posts
• Phase II: Document Scrutiny
  • Based on Written Test results and number of vacancies
  • Documents uploaded during online application will be scrutinized by RITES Ltd.
  • Only information filled in the Online Application Form shall be considered
  • Scrutiny may be conducted online or from RITES’ Regional/Project/Inspection Offices
• Final Selection:
  • Candidates provisionally shortlisted will be placed in the panel
  • Deployment based on project/company requirements

• Candidates have the option to appear for the selection process either in Hindi or English
