• Educational Qualification: 
• Post-Graduation Degree in Education/Philosophy/Sociology/Psychology with minimum 50% marks and B.El.Ed or B.Ed. or D.El.Ed with 50% marks or M.Phil. or Ph.D. in Education for Teacher Educator in Foundation Course.
• Post-Graduate Degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Mathematics/Geography/Geology) with Minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with Minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Science.
• M.A. in History with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with Minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in History.
• M.A. in Geography with Minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Geography.
• M.A. in Economics with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Economics.
• M.A. in Political Science with Minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Political Science.
• M.A. or M.Sc. in Mathematics with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Mathematics.

• Master Degree in Fine Arts (Visual Arts with minimum 50% marks) or Master Degree in Performing Arts (Music/Dance/Theatre) with minimum 50% marks for Art Education Instructor.
• Age Limit: 
• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 42 years
• However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SEBC, SC, and ST and all Women candidates; 10 years for candidates belonging to the PwD category; and the total period of service rendered in defense service in case of Ex-servicemen. PwD candidates in the ST and SC categories shall be entitled to cumulative age relaxation of ten years over and above the normal relaxation specified for the category. However, a candidate who comes under more than one category shall be eligible for only one benefit of age relaxation as per rule which will be most beneficial to her/him.

💳 Selection Process

• Stage – I: Preliminary Examination- 150 marks
• Stage – II: (a) Main Written Examination: Technical paper(s)- 200 Marks.
• Stage – III: Certificate Verification

💳 Application Fee

• As per Odisha Payment of Recruitment Examination Fees and Refund Rules, 2025.
• Candidates other than Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) shall pay Examination Fee of ₹ 500/- using Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI through Payment Gateway during online application.
• SC, ST and PwDs candidates are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.
• Examination fee of ₹ 500/- shall be refunded to applicants who actually appear in the examination, after verification of attendance records, to the same bank account / payment method used at registration.
• No refund is admissible to applicants who fail to appear in the examination for any reason.
• If Confirmation Page is not generated after fee payment, transaction will be cancelled and refund credited within 48 hours; applicant must make another payment for successful application in such cases

• The applicants should go through the detailed advertisement before filling out the online application form.
• The candidate may apply for the post as per her/his eligibility as per terms of the advertisement.
• All eligible candidates have to register themselves by clicking on “APPLY ONLINE” button on the home page of the Commission’s website www.ossc.gov.in.
• Those candidates who are applying for the first time have to register for the post by clicking on “NEW USER” button shown on the screen. On submitting the registration form a User Id and Password will be generated.
